The Ames Foundation, in partnership with the Ames Chamber of Commerce has established a new office at 304 Main Street in downtown Ames. The Foundation is now an affiliate organization of the Ames Chamber of Commerce.

Hangar Construction Begins at Ames Municipal Airport, Terminal Private Fundraising Begins
After months of fundraising, construction on the $1.1 million hangar at the Ames Municipal Airport began on Monday (2/22) with the erection of the steel frame. Story Construction of Ames estimates the time for the building erection will be four to five weeks. The finished building will be 11,400 square feet and have capacity to house multiple aircraft. Its primary usage will be short-term storage for visiting aircraft.
