March 2, 2020

The Ames Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the creation of a new event: Cybersecurity Town Hall presented by PC Matic.

This luncheon event on April 2, 2020, features a panel of cybersecurity experts addressing issues facing IT professionals today.  Attendees will have an opportunity to build a network of other IT professionals as well as have access to local programs and resources available to address these needs in our community.

“We’re excited to announce this great event,” said Dan Culhane, President and CEO of the Ames Chamber of Commerce. “After surveying our membership last year, we recognized cybersecurity as a growing need among the business community. Our hope is to help connect these professionals together and provide them a space to further develop their skills and resources.”

This event was designed for professionals in a technology role in the Story County area, from large companies who focus in technology, to small businesses who have one person serving as an IT employee, and everything in between.

The Cybersecurity Town Hall will be held on Thursday, April 2 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Green Hills Community Center (2205 Green Hills Drive, Ames).
