Colo lies at the intersection of U.S. Highway 30 and 65, making it a highly visible and readily accessible community. The city takes pride in its historical highway tradition, as the Lincoln and Jefferson Highways intersect at the northeast corner of Colo at the Reed-Niland Corner historical site.
